How it works
Brazilian credentials can't be verified with tools built for US records. VerifyBR runs on Brazil's own systems - e-MEC, Diploma Digital, Gov.br, CTPS Digital - plus a team on the ground for everything that needs a human. Here's the whole workflow.
Screen for free
Before you spend anything: check the institution in the free e-MEC lookup (no account), or run a free Credential Check on the resume, diploma XML, or scanned diploma. You get accreditation status, whether the claimed course exists at that institution, and red flags - instantly.
A Credential Check confirms the claim is plausible. It does not prove the person graduated - that's what Full Verification is for.
Order a Full Verification - $49
Give us the claim from the resume: candidate name, institution, degree, graduation year. Or upload the resume and we prefill it. Add employment history for $20 if you need it ($69 total). First verification free for new customers.
The candidate participates
The candidate gets a secure link, consents (LGPD-compliant, explicit), and uploads documents. Two paths from there:
Instant path: a Diploma Digital file (standard for 2021+ graduates of federal universities) verifies cryptographically - mathematical proof the university issued that diploma. Gov.br-signed documents give government-backed identity assurance.
Registrar path: for older or non-digital credentials, our team in Brazil contacts the university registrar directly, in Portuguese. Every confirmation is logged with source and date - evidence on file, available on request.
Get the report
A definitive English report: education verified (and how), identity, employment history if ordered, and anything that could not be confirmed - stated plainly. Instant to 5 business days from candidate response. Download it from your dashboard; reports are never emailed as attachments.
